Well, i’ve added my last two completions (Airfix Vampire T.35A and Eduard Albatros D.III) - that rounds out my modelling year - 5 completions is my best effort for some time!

The productive year continues, with my third build down for 2023. This one is the Eduard 1/48 Albatros DV, a favourite kit of mine and one I have built a few times. This is the 8113 boxing. It fought me along the way, but I am glad that she’s done. Here’s to another productive six months!

Hi all - adding my latest completion, the Eduard 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf-109E-1. This is quite a lovely kit, so lovely I am tempted to try another one!

Well, quite a while between drinks here! I let the site lapse for a number of months (i.e. most of 2022) but decided to get it back up and running.
2022 was pretty slow for me, only three builds in total. Oh well. I have added pics of my three builds; a 1/48 Bf-109G and two Triplanes, also in 1/48.
I have tried to start 2023 on a good foot with an early finish; the Airfix 1/48 Hurricane, which was a joy to build.
Here’s hoping for a more productive 2023!

Small update, after quite a slow 2021. I’ve added my second and last 2021, completion, the old Airfix 1/72 DH4. I’ve also added my first 2022 completion, the 1/48 Monogram Messerschmitt Bf-109G-10.

Very slow going of late, work and a move of house has been keeping me very busy of late! In any case, I have finally completed something for 2021 - the lovely Eduard Morane Saulner N. Great to finally get some runs on the board!
I’ve also added my Airfix 1/72 Sptifire Mk 22 which I completed late last year.

Well,after a four month build, i’ve added my 1/48 Lindberg Bristol Bulldog to the gallery. It fought me all the way but it’s a build i’ve had in mind to do for some years, so glad she’s finally done!

Again i’ve been quite lazy updating the site - i’ve added my two completions so far this year - the Arii Spitfire V.III and Eduard Pfalz D.III.

Work has kept me quite busy for the last 12 months or so - as a result, time at the bench has been very sparse...! None the less, I have managed to complete two models so far this year, the Airfix Bf-109E and Eduard Hellcat, both in 1/72 scale. These are now both posted into the gallery.
Here's hoping there is some more bench time in my future.....!

Again quite a while between drinks here - work has been keeping me terribly busy, which means no time at the bench. I've managed to finish two models in the last 6 months, which is slow for me - the Hasegawa 1/72 Polikarpov I-16 and the Flashback 1/72 Sopwith Strutter, which I have just posted. Hopefully I can squeeze in another completion before the end of the year, when i'll be moving interstate again - life in the Defence Force is grand :)

It's been a number of months since I updated this page - guess i've been a bit slack! Added the rest of my 2015 completions - the Italeri 1/72 Bell 47, Airfix 1/72 P-51D and Roden 1/48 Nieuport 28.
Also added a "work in progres" page for my current build - the Flashback 1/72 Sopwith Strutter.

After 4 months of being away from the bench overseas serving Queen and Country, I needed a quick build to get back into the groove. I picked out the 1/48 Italeri Hawker Typhoon kit on a whim and decided to have a crack. See the galleries for pics. It's good to have paint under the finger nails again :)

I have decided to add a "works in progress" section to the site, so that I can show photos and text of the builds I have in progress. The concept I have for these is that they will be "build logs", which I will archive somewhere on the site once the builds are completed, with the 'final product' pictures ending up in the "models" gallery. That's the thought anyways. We'll see how it works out. In the mean time I have started my first "WiP" gallery, the Eduard Fokker EV in 1/48 scale.
